The world has lost a great partner, brother, uncle, and best friend. Garth Allen Edgar passed away on December 6, 2007 at the age of 43. He was born in Jefferson City, MO and lived in Indianapolis for the past 18 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edgar, Jr. and Mary Alice Distler Edgar, both of Jefferson City, MO. Garth is survived by his life partner, Jojo Javellana; brother, Charles Edgar III of Willard, MO; sister, Tracy Schnieders (Mark) of Jefferson City, MO; niece, Kalee Edgar of Springfield, MO and three nephews, Braxton and Steven Wolfe of Jefferson City, MO and Ryan Edgar of Springfield, MO. Garth touched and changed so many lives for the better. The world will not be the same without him. Visitation and the funeral service Mass will both be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 6131 North Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 10. The funeral service Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11. Memorial contributions may be made in Garth's memory to, The Damien Center, The American Cancer Society and The American Diabetes Association.
